I've felt awkward for the past 4 days.
I don't understand.
Then, I think about it more, and guess what.
That's right, more awkwardness.
It sucks "catching up" with people who are close to you, yet you have nothing "big" (I hate when people say, "Well, what BIG things have been going on?") to say.
I practically did nothing for the past month and a half of my life except fix a gas leak on a car.
But, I'm not really mad at them.
I'm mad at myself.
For not having a life with cool, interesting stories to tell from it.
Shalom.

Depends on your definition of an interesting life Ryan. If asked "What did you do today that was amazing and interesting?" I'd respond, "well, not much happens in my life!" What I should say is "Everything! - I breathed air through my lungs, I interacted with someone, I saw the garden, I heard the birds, I watched my daughter play." Perhaps not interesting to the person you're saying it to, but definitely amazing. And a wonderful gift.
Keep the faith.

dude, how about saying something like "well, i smoked _____ number of cigarettes since i last say you and prayed ____ many times about why the world seems to hate he gospel (as well as many other christians), or something like...
"you are my friend, and i feel awkward, and i dont want to anymore. here is what is REALLY going on." cut right to it. cuz as much as it seems like nothing has been going on with you, the truth is that there is something constantly going on with your spirit. maybe our spirits need to talk for once...it's been a while.
sorry if you felt awkward around me and kim, we tend to do that, and i dont know why. but thanks for visiting and being a good friend.
PS- keeping a tally on your own statisticts and blurting them out to people unexpectably is cool. dont forget that.
I hate when that happens.
You could always come home.
Actually, just take me with you next time.
Uhg, I love you, Ryan.
You have no idea.
